women’s volleyball coach at Lafayette College.
Jerome E. Beazer III ’12 MBA
received a
promotion to the position of Associate with the
Corporate & Investment Bank at JP Morgan Chase
& Co at the company’s corporate headquarters in
Manhattan. Beazer is also a member of the Kean
University Alumni Association Board.
Baruti Kafele II ’12,
entrepreneur and lecturer,
has joined the Change Makers radio show as a
special guest speaker.
Danielle L. Worth ’12 MBA
was selected
as Champion of the Year by SUE (Sisters
United Enterprise). The award celebrates “the
achievements of individuals and organizations
who have demonstrated an outstanding level
of commitment to excellence in business and
community service.” Worth is the Founder and
CEO of Up Rising Stars, Inc., a family run, (501)
(c3) non- profit organization, founded in 2011
to give back to the community by awarding
scholarships to deserving college-bound high
school students.

was hired as a corrections officer
at the Somerset County Jail.
Air Force Airman 1st Class
Nicholas J. Lusby ’14
graduated from basic military training at Joint
Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week
program that included training in military
discipline and studies, Air Force core values,
physical fitness, and basic warfare principles
and skills.
WilliamDamiana ’14
was inducted into the
Athletic Hall of Fame at Lower Cape May Regional
High School. He was recognized as one of the
best wrestlers in the school’s history, holding the
school record with 137 wins.

exhibited her work “Collective Visons” in the
James Howe Gallery at Kean University.
Abbey O’Connor ’14
was crowned Miss New
Jersey International
2015. She was
subsequently the NJ
state representative at
the Miss International
2015 pageant held
in Jacksonville, FL,
in July and has been
involved in a number
of community activism
projects throughout the
state. She has also worked tirelessly on her own
platform, Cancer Awareness and Prevention, to
bring more awareness to the disease.

Class, graduated from basic military training at

was chosen as the
Christa McAuliffe Teacher of the Year, as well as
the Jackson School District Teacher of the Year.
He also became the new vice principal of Christa
McAuliffe Middle School this past June.

of Lacrosse Operations at Rutgers University.
Zolchonock was a four-year letter winner for
the Cougars.
