is the new
Asbury Park City Manager. Capabianco is the
former borough administrator of Little Ferry,
New Jersey.
Malva Cuevas ’01
was promoted to Associate
Director in the Global Promotion Center
of Excellence at Merck. Malva will lead
the development, implementation, and
measurement of HCP Promotion, and Multi-
Channel Marketing programs, tactics, and
resources focused on the top global markets
and customers for the Hospital Acute Care
franchises. Malva is also a member of the Alumni
Leadership Initiative committee of the Kean
University Alumni Association.
Lisa Esposito ’01 MPA
was promoted to
the rank of sergeant in the Madison Police
Department, becoming the first female sergeant
in the department’s history.
Mary Holt ’01
was among seven Plainfield
teachers honored at the 2015 Union County
Teacher Recognition Program. The annual
event, sponsored by the Union County
Superintendent’s Roundtable, recognizes Union
County elementary and secondary school
teachers for their performance in the classroom.
The Rev. Cherisna Jean-Marie ’01,
an
ordained minister with a Master of Divinity from
Vanderbilt Divinity School, is the new chaplain
at Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, TX.

Addiction and Its Effect on the Family Unit. He
previously wrote three novels and is currently
working on a fifth manuscript.

Pizza in the U.S., was recently featured in the
Jersey Journal and on NJ.com for Kono Pizza’s
new location in the Newport Centre Mall in
Jersey City, NJ. Kono Pizza has reinvented one
of America’s most popular comfort foods (pizza),
serving it up in a cone.

School District’s new superintendent of schools.

of Special Services by the Clark Board of

District Superintendent, was named the 2015
Educator’s Voice National Superintendent of the
Year and a 2016 National Educator to Watch.

celebrated the birth of their daughter, Alexa
Reign O’Donnell on January 23.
Joseph Aubourg ’06
recently started the
nonprofit “My Angel My Hero,” and has been
honored with the Martin Luther King Award at
the Union County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner by
Assemblyman Jon Bramnick. Aubourg was also
the co-chair for the District 46 Toastmasters
2015 Fall Conference.
Adam Glyn ‘06,
TMZ “street journalist” and a
born-and-bred New Jersey native from Union,
is hosting a new TMZ-produced celebrity game
show called South of Wilshire.
Jamel Holley ’06 MPA,
former Roselle mayor,
was appointed to fill an open seat in the New
Jersey General Assembly representing the 20th
Legislative District. He was unanimously chosen
by the elected members of the Union County
Democratic Committee from the 20th Legislative
District municipalities of Elizabeth, Hillside,
Roselle and Union.
Marlenes Teixeira ’06
was one of three “citizen
leaders” sworn in to the Union County College
Board of Trustees at the board’s April and May
2015 meetings. Teixeira has almost two decades
of service in the public education system.

Year for 2015-16.
Daniel Gregory ’07
was featured in the July 24,
2015 edition of NJ.com for his role in “When the
Ripe Fruit Falls,” an off-Broadway play in New
York City centered on an alcoholic grandfather,
a granddaughter pursuing her graduate degree,
and her blue-collar boyfriend, Tommy, played by
Gregory.
