Malini Bhavesh Adani ‘14, currently pursuing
an M.A. in Early Childhood Education, visited
India over Spring Break to see her parents.
While there she also visited a disabled
children’s school. “This was a humble
attempt to integrate education,” Malini said.
“Kean has taught me that education knows
no global barriers and a teacher can be a life-
changing force.” We are proud to call Malini
one of our own!

Of course, you knew that already (you’re
very smart), but did you know that you can
have weddings on campus?! That’s what
Olivia Triano ’12’14 and Alex Lopes ’13 M.A.
did. Olivia, (now Mrs. Lopes) a two sport
standout at Kean, is a teacher at Ridge High
School and an assistant coach for the Kean
Field Hockey team. Alex, also a college
athlete, is an assistant Lacrosse Coach at
NJIT. Check out that awesome cake topper!
“We couldn’t have asked for a better
experience then having our wedding at
Kean,” said Olivia. “The venue turned out
gorgeous and was such a unique setting for
our big day. It was especially special for us to
be able to celebrate our marriage in the very
place we met. We wouldn’t change a thing.”
